World Vision Niger invites applications for the position of Strategy & Integrated Programs Director
Contexte du recrutement : Lead the implementation of World Vision’s Strategy and Integrated Programme Director model in Niger, aligned to the Global Strategy and WARO priorities, consolidating the organisation as a preferential partner in the country focused on the holistic wellbeing and resilience of children, families, and communities

Missions principales
  • You will lead and strategically manage internal and external relationships with national, regional, and global partners, donors, sector technical networks, and support offices as part of ongoing dialogue, organizational development, and accountability

  • You will lead the implementation of World Vision Niger's Strategy and delivery model and programming, ensuring an effective contribution to the well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable, as well as to WV Niger ministry sustainability. You will foster operational and programmatic planning and implementation, ensure operational effectiveness, drive innovation and succession processes based on a transformational and servant leadership model, and drive action for sustainability and evidence of impact

Profil recherché

Formation:

Master's Degree in Social Project Management / Master's Degree in Local Development Management / Master's Degree in Programme and Project Management / Social Policies / Human Rights / Children's Rights

Expérience:

Five years' experience in similar positions

Compétences techniques:

Strategic and Long-term vision; Negotiation, Analytical and synthesis skills; Ability to partner and influence decision-making that positively impacts on children; Effective relations with different audiences; Capacity for innovation; Ability to manage the Programme and Project Cycle; Proficiency in Windows and Office computer package; Experience in emergency response, business continuity planning and crisis management; Experience in preparing proposals for development agencies; Strategic and systemic thinking. Ability to solve complex problems and to exercise independent judgment; Strategic and operational planning; Project Design and evaluation; Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
